Opening Day For Trails

In Conjunction with the Rails To Trails Conservancy’s National Opening Day For Trails, The Lincoln Prairie Trails Conservancy Hosted its First Public Event On Saturday, April 8th. Volunteers were located in Pana at the Trailhead and in Taylorville near the Lake Drive Crossing. We offered in depth information on the trail and the organization, free bottled water and munchies, and an opportunity to join The Lincoln Prairie Trails Conservancy as A CHARTER MEMBER (Only Available In 2017).

We had a very successful first event as we increased our membership to nearly seventy Charter Members!
